Data from Down Under: Powering the Global AI Boom

The Action Exchange was delighted to work with Lendlease to produce a new thought leadership paper on Australia’s opportunity to build a new export industry in AI data centre capabilities.

Lendlease posed a provocative question - what would it take for Australia to position itself as a leading player in the global race for AI advantage? 

The opportunity that emerged lies in leveraging the country’s vast land and renewable energy resources and maximising our secure regulatory and political environment, to provide the sophisticated, sustainable data centres designed to power AI.

The Action Exchange applied our knowledge mobilisation process to analyse and identify the thought leadership opportunity in this space. We interviewed experts to uncover the insights that will enable Australia to step up into the role of trusted AI infrastructure exporter, as well as the roadblocks to progress.

The outcome is a thoughtful, lively contribution to Australia’s strategic economic debate. This piece provides Lendlease with a compelling, evidence-based platform to deepen relationships with stakeholders and lead the conversation with clients and partners.
