Objective

A proxy advisory firm wanted to demonstrate the value of its counsel to listed company directors and legal counsel on the emerging strategic and governance issues associated with the adoption of artificial intelligence.

Approach

We convened a hybrid virtual and in-person roundtable event with local and international AI governance expert speakers to engage a select group of the firm’s clients and prospects. By curating an intimate and informed, off-the-record environment, the attendees felt comfortable sharing their views, experiences and challenges with AI in the boardroom with their senior executive peers and our client.

Outcome

Impressed with the turnout of listed company c-suite attendees, the proxy firm strengthened its relationships with its clients and prospects, and in doing so demonstrated its own thought leadership credentials. In addition, the firm garnered valuable insight from its target market about an emerging practice area and used this to develop and refine its advisory offering.
